1970 Seiko 6105 "Captain Willard" Diver — Stainless Steel

The Seiko 6105 diver, immortalized on Martin Sheen's wrist in Apocalypse Now and one of the most collectible vintage Seikos ever made. This example retains its distinctive asymmetric cushion case unpolished, along with its original bracelet and bezel. The black dial carries square and rectangular markers with baton hands and the "resist" designation — matched on the case back — placing it in the transitional period between the earlier proof and later resist markings. Powered by the Seiko caliber 6105B automatic with hacking seconds and quickset date, recently serviced and running well.

Condition

Excellent. The stainless steel case is unpolished and shows minor scuffs consistent with age. The dial and hands are clean, and the bezel retains its original lume intact. The acrylic crystal is clean and scratch free. The caliber 6105B movement has been recently serviced and is working great. The crown pulls to two positions — the first for quickset date, the second for setting the time with hacking seconds.
